Method Of Anti-corrosion Force On The Surface Of Linear Shaft

The linear axis is a connecting component in most mechanical products widely used at present. Due to the humid environment of some machinery, there will be higher requirements for the corrosion resistance of linear shafts. Ways to improve the corrosion resistance of the linear shaft surface:

1. Rolling processing:

Through roll forming, a cold work hardened layer is formed on the rolled surface, which reduces the elastic and plastic deformation of the contact surface of the grinding pair, and can delay the generation or expansion of fatigue cracks, thereby improving the surface corrosion resistance.

2. Chrome plating:

After the linear shaft is chrome-plated, it can have a hard, smooth, and corrosion-resistant surface. Therefore, if you want to improve the corrosion resistance of the linear shaft surface, you need to go through chrome plating. After chromium plating, the coating hardness of the optical axis can be as high as HV1100, and the coating is smooth, uniform in thickness, and strong in dispersion, so that it can be greatly improved in some aspects.

3. Tempering:

Quenching and tempering is the quenching and tempering treatment of the optical axis. After the quenching and tempering treatment, it can effectively improve the working strength of the material, help close the surface micro cracks, hinder the expansion of corrosion, and improve the surface corrosion resistance. However, not all linear shafts need quenching and tempering, so the quenching and tempering treatment should be judged according to the actual situation and materials.

In short, the better the corrosion resistance of the linear shaft surface is, the easier it is to make the linear shaft less susceptible to corrosion, so as to obtain a longer service life.
